Standards and Compliance
The UKCA symbol was introduced to the product marketplace after the United Kingdom’s (UK) official exit from the European Union. It is a certification mark found on certain products that signifies a met standard of safety, health, and environmental protection.

Within the UK, or for trading within Great Britain, most products are mandated to have a United Kingdom Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark present. Failure to label a product with required markings could result in it being permanently shelved in addition to costly fines and penalties.

Manufacturers are responsible for verifying that their products meet the UK’s requirements for safety, health, and the environment. As it relates to UKCA, they must carry out a conformity assessment, maintain technical files, complete a UK Declaration of Conformity and affix the UKCA mark to their product.

Materials

Our material is designed with 3M permanent pressure sensitive adhesive and UV protected polyester overlaminate. The label material is compliant with RoHS, CRoHS, and REACH standards. It has been developed and tested to be resistant to abrasive chemical washdowns, water, heat, and strong ultraviolet light. • Indoor/Outdoor Vinyl (OV): provides excellent chemical resistance and performs well in temperatures from 0 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit.
