Joshua H. Shultis, FS Tech (TÜV Rheinland, # 1607/18, Machinery)
Joshua Shultis is a Director of Safety Assessment at Clarion Safety Systems and Machine Safety Specialists (a Clarion Safety Systems Company) and has 17+ years of engineering experience with a variety of controls systems, including safety systems for industrial machinery, process control, compression systems, and power generation. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Graphic Design from Cazenovia College in Upstate NY. Additionally, Joshua is a TÜV Certified Machine Safety Technician, who has attended multiple guarding and safety-related seminars, and other training courses.
Joshua has worked to develop safety tools and systems within the company including Machine SafetyProTM assessment software. Joshua provides safety surveys and reports for industrial plants/machinery, consultation for abatement and prevention of OSHA violations, and control reliability studies.
Joshua primarily works with industrial clients and OEMs to review drawings, perform Risk Assessments, and ensure compliance with the ANSI B11, NFPA 79, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart O, and ANSI/ISA-84 standards.
